I used the prototype of this game in college for study nights whenever I had a test on using directions in my Japanese or Chinese classes.  I was able to get together with several classmates and play. Playing the game made studying a lot of fun and helped each of us on our listening comprehension (following each others directions on the board) as well as our speaking (life application).

When I was visiting Japan years later my friend and I got lost looking for our hotel at 3am. I was able to call the hotel, identify where I was in Japanese and then follow directions they gave me.
